mick2me 3,033
This early 1900s photograph appears to show ballistrades, apparently near the war memorial. Anyone know when they were removed?

rob237 89
Anyone know what ballistrades are ? In the context of the the picture, the balustrade will be the coping of the steps which are "often circular in section and curvaceous in outline" Cheers Robt P.
