It reminds me of many years ago when a member of our church choir (a tenor) applied to theological college in Mirfield in West Yorkshire to train for the Anglican priesthood. He was a really lovely chap and we could ill afford to lose him as tenors were a bit short at that time. He was rejected by the interviewing panel. The reason? Not sufficiently aggressive. Yes, that was the word they used. Not assertive but aggressive. So, we kept our tenor. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
