John, Cafe'...Nightclub?

Recommended Posts

In the 70's & 80's, I knew a guy called John.

He originally owned a cafe upstairs above a shop almost next to the Bell Inn.

The cafe had a 1920's theme. Can't remember the name of it?

Bit too posh fer the likes of me.

Later he moved to the nighclub business, in a club just up on the right hand side of St James St

Sorry forgot what it was called?

What is he doing nowadays? Anyone know?

Would the club be 'Pieces' if so that s where the "New Aribba" is now , although there are two 'Clubs' on that side of the Street, and I can't for the life of me think of the name of this one . I bet Radfordred will know

Mid to late 80's at a guess (I think the woman who was involved in the Old Vic in the early 90s was here too at this time.
