Deeps 68 Posted September 19, 2011 Report Share Posted September 19, 2011 Hi all just found the site and I am suitably impressed I was born in the first half of the last century ( 1947 ) lived on Grainger St Meadow lane. I attended London Road Infants, Arkwright Junior and Greenwood Secondary 58/62. Then joined the Royal Navy served for 12 years travelled and lived all over the world . Returned to Nottingham in 1974 on posting with new job have lived around the country before retiring now live in North Staffordshire. Reading earlier posts brought back lots of memories of The Meadows, Sneinton, Colwick Road etc I would love to share those memories. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

My parents were Arthur (Mighty Fine) and Phoebe and there was John, Arthur Jnr., Michael (Mick) and my sister Margaret.
