  1. When I read the header I thought this was going to be about dentists in Hungary............ What's wrong with Pickfords?
  2. Can you actually say that on here? Mind you, I hope the moderators leave it on till everyone's had a good chuckle - this is better than the giggle page On the other hand, if the government gets a whiff of this it'll be on the statute books as a new vote winner in weeks! (the headline will be 'govt announces minge benefits for all working men' or 'the government promises to eliminate minge poverty by 2011' Also, it makes me rethink a thing my wife used to call me all the time, before we split up - mingey - now I wonder what she was really getting at! This is a video of us taken shortly
  3. Free photo bucket? Could you turn that into a long sentence for a very old man?
  4. I think it's very popular in Brazil............
  5. The opening note (if notes is OK) to Buddy Miles, 'Them Changes' - One of Pat's hot tracks back in the day.
  6. PS - my memory is not so good these days, but I think only Keith was Petal - I think Pat was just Pat - but she may correct me on this. Just thought I should mention it though.
  7. There's a story about that wallpaper which would curdle your stomach, but I can't tell you, cos Julie would send a hit man over from Florida! I'd like to upload another one but it tells me I only have 13k of space left and so I can't do it. I wrote to Mick asking for help, but maybe you know how? It's of Scamps and me in the DJ stand - so maybe you won't want to tell me!
  8. Pictures for Pat - Julies kitchen - Please forward to her
  9. And another thing - half the thing about good music is finding it and I was so impressed with beefy's Kid rock thing that if anyone would like to point me at some other great stuff that would be brill. Oh - and here's my starter for ten: Anything by Sad Lovers and giants Anything by the Silencers. Now, how easy is that!
  10. Hey - come on guys - de de de dede de de! Smoke on the Water - live of course!
  11. Good point - but think of the fringe benefits !jumping!
  12. Pat - you're kidding!! Julie was my landlady on Epperstone Road for a couple of years - Then she moved out of town to breed horses! Did Jason and Simon go out with her? God, the jammy so and so - I'll send you my email address in a message and you can send it to her and then maybe she'll write to me! Tell her if she doesn't I'll spill the beans! All of them! And little Norm in Barbados? Bet he's a hunk! I lost touch with her after she started working for social services back in the 90s and I've been trying to track her down ever since! Send her my address too and I'm sure she'll drop
  13. I know it's not vinyl, but both tracks are on emergency 999 - a sequel CD - all their early stuff basically, I'll send my address in a mo!
  14. Great Music Pete! I loved Alan Bown - used to talk to him occasionally when they played the Place in Stoke (Hanley really). I still think Jess Roden was one of the best voices of any colour ever! I'd quite like all three if that's OK - should I message my address?
  15. No - but I bet it keeps them awake at night thinking about it! !cheers! I teach a little yoga over here in Cheshire - been at it for the last 20 years now! (did have a proper job for a while as well!) I was trained (partly) by a guy called Desikachar and his dad was Krishnamacharya - He's worth checking out!
  16. Well - as far as I know they have to be from the Vedas and in Sankrit because that's God's own sound. Of course you can chant in any language you like - they do it at the Britannia Ground in Stoke every Saturday! So it's not about efficacy - just nit-picking really!
  17. The trouble is half the guys on here get paid to stay awake all night - DJing! Still it's interesting research and anyone who can't sleep should check it out while the offer stands. PS - mantras are always in Sanskrit, I work with them a lot in my own job!
  18. Right on Pete! Couldn't agree more. I suspect that your top criminals bung no end of backhanders at the politicians, just to keep all the things their punters enjoy illegal. Otherwise they'd lose most of their income!
  19. Well, bloody hell! Hi Pat it is good to hear that you're both still out there! Say hi to keith from me. Did you move out of the caravan in the intervening years? There's a lass on here called Hippo Girl and we're the only ones who seem to have been at the Hippo in the early 70s - can you help us out? Do you know what happened to anyone from there and then? Tony? Gordon Long? Mick McCardle? Wendy? Brian? I know Andrea left town with Moonlight from the Penny, but did you ever see her again? Also, also also - What about Alex - he of the scottish accent and soul records!! Oh and if there is anyo
  20. OK - I know this one - it's a cream made from Vinegrette, IrnBru and Peanut butter - very relaxing apparently.
  21. Nope but I had a set of James Bond and Man from U.N.C.L.E cards and I bet they're worth a fortune now. Where do all our treasures disappear to?
  22. Maybe the help is free but the treatment isn't - it's a bit like the warranty on my car - it was free but the repairs weren't
  23. I think there may be worse - but all I can think of to say is -
  24. Hey c'mon guys - maybe they just take dictation. But - does this mean I could advertise in the EP for people that used to go to the Penny in the early 70s as a kind of contact thing? Would it be dead expensive?
