Ian, how can you not have liked the sos sandwiches at the mill cafe? Not the new owners,but the original. Two of them set me up for the day, yum yum.

Parkers Cafe, near Dunkirk Fire Station. Amazing seasoned sausage meat cobs.  Mmmm , could do with one now.

I don't know exactly Lizzie. This would be mid 80's till the early 90's. They got us through some hangovers at Plessey on Sunday mornings !

I think you're right. The cafe became Kelly's about 92 or later, and it really went down the pan.

Been checking ......Mick Parker had a cafe at 368 Radford Road in the 60s.
