Only thing I have observed on my infrequent visits back is that far more people seem to live in fear of crime, and areas of some cities seem to have become no go. I could go into more details but then it would start to sound like an attack from an ex pat and I have no desire to do that. I do not trust the mainstream media in any form. It has mostly become a whore performing for the highest bidder, that is true here as well. I am very pessimistic for the future of Western civilization in its present form. I remember visiting cities in the UK,it looked as if the immigrants were 75% of the population.I am convinced the majority of people see violent crime on the increase, and they have a fear of the rise.
