I woke up and the wardrobe doors were opening and banging and the bed was shaking....I thought we had a bleady poltergeist. colly0410 1,183 Posted January 29, 2015 Report Share Posted January 29, 2015 My wife was not pleased to hear that when I woke up to the 2008 earthquake I thought it was only her stomping across the bedroom. I thought someone was kicking the bed from side to side that night, the ceiling fan was swinging away making a groaning noise, our cat Tiddles jumped about 3 feet & ran downstairs hissing & spitting, she was not happy. I could hear the later aftershocks coming about 2/3 seconds before they hit. Had the radio on & of course it was all about the quake.. Edit, posted about this last year, i'd forgotten about that.
