I was forbidden by my mum to play there until I was about 10. That is why I got so many clouts off her. You can never hide the smell of canal. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

It was on the opposite side of (No2) Radford Bridge Road to the lock, also marked on the map. His Father was Master Carpenter on the Nottingham Canal - the house came with the job.
