catfan 14,793
I have noticed this week a plethora of Domino's billboard walkers around Bulwell, these have been a feature on roads in Nottingham for a few years now. There was a young wench outside the Bulwell Job Center the other morning at about 8am wearing the said billboard & we exchanged pleasentries as you do. When I asked if the JC had made her take the job she firmly replied no. Being a student it boosted her finances but only getting minimum pay. She was quite happy doing the job & could have a laugh doing it ! Today in the NEP there is an article whereby Nottm City Loony Labour Council have asked Dominoe's to pack the billboard adverts in. Why ? If people want to work albeit on minimum wage at least this is an honest living. Sometimes I do despair with Joco & Co. http://www.nottinghampost.com/End-road-Domino-s-human-billboards/story-26156943-detail/story.html
Bubblewrap 3,815
There's no mention of where the particular "Dominoes" is We had some sandwich boarders in Loughborough a couple of weeks ago. So I asked one of then were Dominoes was(I did know) Answer I've got no idea we're from Sheffield. Loughborough is a long way to come for just standing around all day. Cliff Ton 10,494
That explains something I'd seen recently.....several of these Domino's advertising people hanging around in Gamston in the last couple of weeks. The nearest shop is in West Bridgford a couple of miles away. They are obviously doing it all over the place.
Bubblewrap 3,815
The Dominoes in Loughborough is also very small & I think it's for take aways & home deliveries only. I don't think there is any indoor seating(I'm not certain)

Bubblewrap 3,815
I buy a basic cheese & tomato pizza(thin crust) from Sainsbury's and add my own toppings............................It's cheaper.
MelissaJKelly 2,124
Not a bad idea Bubblewrap. Aldi do some nice ones as well which are half the price!
TBI 2,351
My pizza-maker ( same person as my pastry-cook ) makes them from scratch, very cheap. Lovely!
