Jill Sparrow 10,323
Saw the moon very clearly here in Derbyshire tonight. Beautiful. One of my earliest memories is of waking up in my cot and seeing the full moon shining through the window. Remember looking at it through the bars on the side of the cot. I have always been fascinated by the moon.
loppylugs 8,429
Hounds are supposed to howl at the moon but mine won't. Even tried to teach him a year or two ago. The neighbors probably still think I'm crazy but he won't do it. Just doesn't care. Rotten Beagle.
Jill Sparrow 10,323
#4 Jake is obviously not the kind of beagle who does traditional hound things. Try him with something slightly different, knitting perhaps?
loppylugs 8,429
Wish I could teach him to pull weeds.
Jill Sparrow 10,323
#6 Ah, now you're talking, Loppy. With 4 moggies trained to weed the garden, I'd be able to put my feet up. Are they interested? No chance!

FLY2 10,109
It's quite eerie and silent really. Most unusual.
LizzieM 9,514
Silent? Makes a bloomin' change. We've already had fireworks round here over the weekend, upsetting the dog.
FLY2 10,109
Had some here this evening about 7.30. Unbelievable.Silence now though!
