Michael Booth 7,364 Posted January 25, 2017 Report Share Posted January 25, 2017 I enjoyed watching the series Nottingham Now And Then and saw my Dad on a photo. I was surprised to see the photo because I had the same one and wondered where they'd got theirs from. There were four men in the Auxiliary Fire Service on the photo so I wondered if it was a member of one of their families who'd sent it in. I also enjoy watching the local news items. He lived in Sutton in Ashfield then, but as the bombing increased in the Birmingham area, he was transferred to Walsall for the remainder of the war.
