Compo 10,328
I have been asked to do the Facebook 7 day black and white photo challenge so I thought I'd pop a few pictures on here whilst I'm at it: . I'm no pro and don't have any editing suites such as Photoshop, so what you see is what the camera saw. 8
MargieH 7,600
Brilliant and interesting photos, Compo. Where do the steps lead to?
plantfit 7,597
Different kind of atmosphere in black and white although I can't see many colours or at least the difference in many colours I can still appreciate the amount of work that has gone into the composition of your photo's, keep posting them Rog

MargieH 7,600
I'm not going to be able to manage all those steps, so I hope it isn't the stairway to heaven!
Oztalgian 3,293
Compo, those biscuits look yummo the square one looks like a shortbread, what is the oval shaped one, is that a shortbread too?
Compo 10,328
Both Shortbread Oz. Here in Scotland they do shortbread in all sorts of shapes and sizes. MargieH: the steps are at Keiss harbour in Caithness. They go up from the harbour to the village at the top of the cliff. ....and it is NOT heaven, NBL. It is a dire, run-down place witih massive unemployment.

Compo 10,328
Grace Darling's tomb at Dunstanburgh, Northumberland:
MargieH 7,600
Compo, we went recently to Bamburgh and saw Grace Darling's grave in the churchyard there, also a stone carved recumbent image of her inside the church. I don't think I'll bother trying to climb those steps if they don't lead to heaven!
