After having a regular supply from our eighteen plants over the summer we’ve now got an enormous glut of tomatoes. We’ve  got to start giving them away. We only like them fresh off the vine so bottling is not for us. My favourite lunch is a tomato salad where I slice them, pour over olive oil and wine vinegar, season with pepper and salt and eat with crusty bread.

I'm interested Phil. Is it just a plate of tomatoes, or do you garnish with anything else (apart from dressing)?
