born'n'bred 0
Hiya everyone, found this site by accident, but was amazed. A forum dedicated purely to Nottingham, what a great idea! A bit about me, well I'm 40, was born in Hyson Green, moved to Radford, where I lived till I was 16, briefly went to Lenton (say briefly, thought I was in love lol, but then who doesn't at 16), back home to Radford, onto Alfreton Road, then settled in Carlton. Have family from Aspley & St. Annes. I know OF radfordred, met you a few times when I went in the Variety club with my dad. He once or twice 'worked the door' there, when Bob De Prose (sp) was manager and Bernard Silver? He did the upstairs room if there was a function on, whilst Carl did downstairs. He also worked the door at the Piccadilly Club. Went to Bluecoat and then Trinity school, after Berridge. Not sure what else I can tell you other than I love family history and could spend hours looking at historical photos of places, oh to have been a teenager in the 60's! I was born too late. anyhows, thats me, nice to meet you all x yvette
