avocet 0
Due to popular demand here is another filming location from the 1989 series of Boon for everyone to find.I think this first one should be pretty easy for anyone with a good knowledge of the city, but I have plenty more, some of which could be very tricky !.Photos are online on the link below. Boon Location :

Beefsteak 305
Thats the old general hospital on the right at the back of shot
avocet 0
Here's another one for today, should be easy...... Boon location :
bamber 128
For a while Central TV's offices were located in the office block in the background of that photo of Regent Street.
bamber 128
Location 2 might be Hutton Street off Colwick Road with St Christopher's in the background? St Christopher's Sneinton
mick2me 3,033
Any chance we can have the images posted here via the image icon?

avocet 0
How about this one ?.......
mick2me 3,033
Well Done From the hilly aspect of the terraced houses, could be Forest Fields area?
bamber 128
I don't think its Forest Fields. I'd say it is Lord Nelson Street in Sneinton - looking up the hill towards Sneinton Dale.
bamber 128
Or it could be the next street along: Trent Road. You takes yer pick.
avocet 0
I think that's another one solved quickly.I would agree that it is Trent Road. Are we ready for another one ?,this one might be a bit trickier.......
Beefsteak 305
Trent lane ??
bamber 128
Mmm tricky. I doubt those sheds are still standing. The lamp standards in the background look a bit railwayish so off the top of my head I'd go for somwehere around the old sidings at Netherfield.
lynmee 38
Tollerton Airport
avocet 0
Another shot of the same location, looking away from the buildings and out of the gate. All shots at this location seemed to be close -in with no real look at the surrounding area.
bamber 128
From the third shot I'd tend towards an old RAF station - plenty of those to the south and east of Nottingham.
firbeck 859
How about Wymeswold.
avocet 0
Yes,could be Wymeswold.I think that was a WW2 airfield and I reckon the hangars in the picture are a WW2 type though I stand to be corrected by forum members with better military/aviation knowledge than me !. Here is another photo, looking from the gates, seems to be on a narrow country lane with more hangars/warehouses opposite. The area around the hangars is surrounded by high,War Dept./MOD style chain-link fencing. bamber 128
Here's a 1997 photo of one of the old hangars at Wymeswold.
