Bip 88
Easy peasy but don’t ask, I have the tools if you would like to borrow them. Try your local paper for a carpenter or I could ask the bloke in the opposite bungalow to me he’s a carpenter by trade, what his price is I have no idea but I bet he would be happy to give you a quote. Frank 13
I thought you were a plumber Bazzer?? Never mind, a bit of wood spoilin' on the side for cash is good - just don't let the tax man know...........
BAZZER 10
first job when leaving school was apprentice plumber for a one-man band in Gedling,,,, next job: apprentice electrician (mainly HT stuff up scotland) for Stanley Tagg - Daybrook,,,, ended up being general builder. Joined NHBRC when first started. Bought land, designed houses & built 'em - virtually single handed. Now got split disc, trapped nerve & sciatica, worn nodules of the spine, heart trouble & hypertension - and can now do bu99er all - so utterly frustrating !
mick2me 3,033
I bought this door of eBay, from a seller in D*rby. Good price for a new door £26. The other new door he sold went for 99p! He has not replied to my messages re payment and collection. I offered to pay cash to save him paypal charges.
denshaw 2,872
Anyone know a kitchen fitter who can fit granite work tops?
PeverilPeril 3,284
#8 granite worktops are best fitted by the supplier. Measuring up and making the templates is a skilled job. Joints and cut outs have to be designed to avoid stress points and steel reinforcement rods fitted in strategic locations. Most kitchen fitters will work alongside the granite supplier..
