Hello everyone. I'm a new member with an interest in the old buildings of Nottingham, Nottingham architects and general history, especially of the Lace Market area. I look forward to taking part in the forums. My all time favourite British film is " Saturday Night and Sunday Morning ". I can remember the tales my Dad told me of the time he worked at Raleigh, around the time the film was shot.

Look forward to hearing from you.

You will find lots here about Notts buildings.

Thanks for the welcome guys. Unfortunately my Dad passed away years ago MEGA, but he left me plenty of memories of growing up in the old Sneinton area in the 40's and 50's.
