THE FORMER leader of Broxtowe Borough Council appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court this morning charged with benefit fraud.

In the short hearing Cllr Milan Radulovic – accused of a £45,000 benefit fraud – was told his case is too serious to be heard at Magistrates’ Court.

He will appear at Nottingham Crown Court on Friday March 30.

Cllr Radulovic stepped down from his position as leader when the allegations came to light.

The golfer got 4 months for 12k

He did in the end plead guilty.

The basic sentence Tariffs are laid down by the Government and often are criticized by judges during their sentencing.

These Tariffs are subject to adjustment negatively due to mitigating circumstances or positively due to aggravating factors.

Hope Radulovic likes porridge...He received a 'six figure sum' from Queens Med.in 2005 for their negligence. So if he is found guilty of fiddling £40 odd grand overpayment for his disability...it would appear he is just another greedy politician.Innocent until proved guilty of course...(Pity I can't use emoticons on this post)

I hope he reads this case from July 2011...

John Holden, 62, who represented Inverness South in the Highlands, was sentenced at the city's sheriff court today to a year in prison for defrauding £43,000-worth of benefits.

He was found guilty July 2011 after a 12-day trial.

Holden was convicted of committing the fraud over nine years, between January 1999 and August 2008.

On sentencing, Sheriff Abercrombie told him: "By deliberately making false claims for benefit and by deliberately failing to notify your true financial circumstances, you together with all other cheats who try to beat the system for personal gain have undermined that social contract. You have shown cold contempt for it."
