Here's a few for the romantics out there - Iguazu Falls.

The largest waterfall in the world by volume, there are 257 separate cataracts that make up Iguazu. It lies on the borders of Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay. On this trip we stayed in a tatty hotel in Brazil that had the most wonderful fresah fruit and veg I have eaten anywhere. We enjoyed some white water rafting beneath the falls and got very, very wet! The trek back to the falls via the jungle soon had us dry and listening to the fascinating sounds all around us.

Just lovely your photos Compo, so Interesting.

Fascinating those Kapok trees!; would you ever think of Kapok growing? - looks related to cotton.

PS: should you change your pseudonym now that you've changed your avatar? Psssst, I liked you as you was!

Home of the Earls Sinclair. Wartime Air Minister, Sir Archibald Sinclair owned it. It now belongs to Lord Thurso aka John Thurso MP. Thurso and his mother live in a surviving section of the castle. It is on the sea front at Thurso East.

The house Martins negotiated electric lighting and heating in their nest site. I charge them a token forty flies per month extra for the power.
