  19. This was on the radio? Bloody hell! Mind you, for a while I had Internet radio from the States - no Djs just music and you could go in and select 'music in the style of' and it would then tell you a little about the artist's style - their music - the key they played it in and so on. I really heard some great stuff. Then they wrote and said they weren't allowed listeners from outside the States. Does anyone know if there is anything like it in the UK (or anywhere that we can listen to)?
  20. I grew up in the Potteries - which I think did miss the swinging sixties. I went straight from me pushbike to me mum's fiat 500! I thought I was a hippie - long hair, Kaftan the works. There were clubs and mods and stuff - I think the Golden Torch was the big one, but I only ever made it to the Place. It wasn't till my second year in Nottingham - in '71 I think that I shared a flat with an out and out clubber and we stazrted going to the hippo. He made me go without me specs - because girls don't like men in specs. All it meant was that I couldn't see how he always pulled the better look
  21. Maybe they entered the temp password wrongly - tell them to get another one and to do a cut and paste, just to be sure. After that it's down to Mick and Bip, I think. Still loving those CDs! Wish I'd been there! Love that Vespa too!
  22. I can tell you a story about a couple of guys who lived up at the top of Sherwood Street - in a flat over a garage that used to be there. One night after tripping the light fandango, they decided a few bones would be a perfect addition to the interior design of their flat, so they walked across Forest road and into the cemetary - at the top end of the amphitheatre. Stumbling about in the dark, looking for a way to acquire some of the aforementioned bones they came across what appeared to be a crocodile - which freaked them out more than just a little. Scared witless they legged it back to t
