  3. just a quick thought and i know its off topic abit...but this pile of god knows what thats been dumped down the airshaft...i`d say a good 30 ton of it....surely its illegal(flytipping)....theres a stream runs through the middle of the tunnel and this craps on top of it.....pollution risk?.. i think so having seen a number of car batterys etc amonst this pile....But surely someone at the scout hut would have known something, its not as if it was a one off dump must have taken a few trips and some time....if they did would this make them accountable for such actions????

Ashley i go there a few times a week to walk the dog...park at Lambley Lane footie pitches and get on to the Colliery sidings/branch line(still intact) and walk through the pit yard and straight up to the tunnel...i go in as far as the pile and 20 foot beyond that is the "Fill" from the Arnold end....doesnt reach the roof so ya might beable to belly crawl the rest ...lol.....and yeh its deffo the second one in which accordin to the map is pepperpots....i remember the one behind the squash club having a large hole knocked into it in which we kids would chuck stones down....so i imagine the pepp
  6. walked in from gedling tip end clear path all the way up.....the rubbish is dumped down the airshaft that used to be behind the old squash club at the cross roads......no tell a lie lookin at the map its the pepper pot one......those bloody scouts dumpin the crap lol....must be them as its the second shaft from gedling......and as you walk in the roof supports are all the way down...one every six foot or so......
  7. i was in that tunnel yesterday.....that pile of rubbish from the air shaft is awesome to look at....tell ya wot though some builder got away with murder there.....just hope the hoodies dont set fire to it because whatevers built on top is in for a shock....was going to climb beyond the pile but me dog thought better of it and i trust her judgement better then mine....lol
  8. Nah the 7th day is across the road from that picture..which is the mosque..bottom of Wells road....got to be one of the uglyest buildings ever.......how on earth it got planning permission i dont know...

  14. i`ve got toshiba 17"....Equium.....349 boys.....the reason i brought this because i brought my youngest the acer and it sh1t its self....sayin that we got it replaced and this one as been ok touch wood....although simular the tosh is of a better build quality you must stay away from pcworld.....complete tw#ts
  15. just out of intrest....in the picture of the bridge on page 9.....as you look at the picture just infront of the small brick shed and to the right whats the two lenths of rail either side of the track for????? jumped off there a few times.....and got away with it...lol

Sounds a bit like wot my mate went through....as a boy his dad started him racing motox.....his dad backed him all the way and then when he was old enough his dad got him into road racing....he backed on this too untill my mate was spotted and there after sponsored.......Now my mate made it big time......his dad in the mean time ad hit tight times......So my mate wanted to sell his house to his dad......the house was worth £220,000 and he wanted to let his dad av it for £150,000(he wanted to give it to his dad but his dad is a very pround man and wouldnt have any of that!!).....But like magic
