  4. This does it for me, when cars were allowed in the tram track.Nice to see a bus crossing in front of the Council House. Were Farmers still going? I see Nat West is shut...must be after 3. Zodiacs had the vinyl roofs and star type hub caps?. Land Crab Austin..and those fold away rain bonnets. Transoms and putlogs seem well fitted..1972.

  6. This is Salisbury Street...pulling it down. Common sight for us kids late 60's and early 70's..we'd strip vacant houses and flog the gear..didn't stray this far though. Rich pickings in our and St.Anns areas. Water tanks, lead flashing etc.. Watts blokes tolerated us...to a point..until the Ruston Buscyrus kicked in.

  10. Thanks for that Oz. Two watering holes..in Sutton...when staying over at College mates. The Railway was great..but sure that was Kirkby.i drank in the modern version.The Rifleman. Closed in the late 60's.
