DaveN 1,118
There are photos at the Post's site of nightclubs in the decades mentioned in the title. http://www.nottinghampost.com/pictures/pictures-Nottingham-nightclubs-80s-90s/pictures-24777949-detail/pictures.html
Cliff Ton 10,467
Another nightclub from the 80s. Can't remember what it was called, but it was next to the Vic Centre clock tower, and in later years it was a branch of Vision Express / Specsavers. Whatever it was, it is no longer. LizzieM 9,510
Intercon ......... I was there on the opening night, early 70's, went to a private party in a side room. Pans People were performing that night, along with (possibly) Hot Chocolate or maybe Lou Christie. I saw both there at some stage. I believe it's name changed a few years later. HSR 286
By 1982/83 it was called Zhivago's. On Tuesday's they had a rock night 10p a pint for a time carried on 12 pint crates! Well you can imagine how it tasted! Also gigs. A couple of bands I remember are Hanoi rocks and a poor quo clone called spider
