Beefsteak 305
They were the 'Stars' of the lunchtime kids show in the very early 70s (Maybe even late 60s !!)
Cliff Ton 10,488
They were the 'Stars' of the lunchtime kids show in the very early 70s (Maybe even late 60s !!) Wish I'd never asked, because I'm now going to have to admit I think I know the answer. Squeg and Syrup - the thinking man's Tingha and Tucker Presumably they used to live in a box in a cupboard in a storeroom in the clock tower

Beefsteak 305
Well done Catfan. Only 3 years, one month and three days after the question was originally asked !! "Squeg and Syrup" it was. They 'lived' in the clock tower after they had finished 'their ' show on "Bran tub" which (IMMSC) was a daily request show held at lunch time on week days, presented by "Gypsie Jean" whose name may have also been "Gypsie Jeaner Magic" I can only just remember sitting there waiting for my (Or other members of my family) names to be announced for our relative birthdays!!) Cliff Ton 10,488
Well done Catfan. Spot the deliberate (I hope) mistake
