Ashley 288
There was a **** take thrash metal band from Ravenshead early 2000ish called Lawnmower Deth with Pete Qualcast on vocals, Chris Flymo on drums plus Kev Silo Stench and Gavin Hedgetrimmer on guitars, however I suspect those weren't their real names
.... 23
Think Gavin came from a long line of Hedgetrimmers in the Ravenshead/Papplewick area.

denshaw 2,878
Am told there is a famous guitarist (genuine) has a house in Papplewick? That could be Brian May from Queen. Lives around there possibly Newstead Abbey. He has been seen in the Horse and Groom at Linby on several occasions.

Radfodlad 0
Am told there is a famous guitarist (genuine) has a house in Papplewick? There was a recent rumour(2 years ago) that Brian May(Queen fame) had purchased a house on the A60 at Ravenshead. Not true. A case of `Chinese Whispers` That could well be the guitarist of which you speak.
