mick2me 3,033
Yes I know its not Notts, but those interested in railways will probably know this building. Tonight I am going to a D*rby University business course at the Roundhouse. This is a covered railway engine turntable building which has been restored. Always seen this from the outside, but never been inside it. I remember it as a derelict building 2006 Present day I am looking forward to seeing it in its restored state as well as taking the course. Railway buildings were built to last forever, Which of these buildings remain in Notts today? Which have sadly dissapeared?
Cliff Ton 10,490
The one which immediately comes to mind is the old Great Northern station on London Road, aka LOW LEVEL Station Being a gym at least means it hasn't been ruined or demolished
taxi ray 170
It looks like the large signal box at Toton sidings, is due for the chop. It is visible from the A52, coming from Derby.
