mick2me 3,033
Bought this tree from Morrisons a few years ago. Height Its now up above first floor of the house, and full of fruit. I've had it so long I forgot what it is? Its not a plumb, but something similar. Can anyone identify it?

.... 24
failing that Almond. Agree, looks like the Almond tree I had in my garden.
Ayupmeducks 1,730
Could be an almond tree, our walnuts look like that before they are fully ripe.
VWGolf 21
Those leaves are of a plum type tree, so guessing it's a damson or greengage.
carltongal 101
looks like Greengage, complete with special branch aphids
jackson 301
Looks like a greengage to me and if it is consider yourself lucky; because the fruit of this tree when ripe can taste as sweet as honey from the bee. So find out what it is - if you haven't already done so - and if it is a greengage, guard it and look after it. The Greengage Summer

Bubblewrap 3,815
Walnut?
Ayupmeducks 1,730
It's not a walnut, different leaves, I'm surrounded by black walnut trees and they look very similar to "white" walnut trees. Agreed the fruit bears a strong resemblance to walnuts.
