Along with oranges, lemons, Pomegranets as big as small melons, Grapes all free to pick. Remember this is Wine country To be honest wine grapes taste nasty Other things grown areTomatoes, Almonds Walnuts, Avacados,Corn, Sunflowers & Rice. Vertigo here anything above 6 ft I fly no prob, love fairground rides its just ladders and stuff that wobbles I was just talking with Mudgie about falling down a tree at Wollaton park egging after that it made me wary of heights

I know its winter cos my oranges are dropping off the tree Just cut the grass & had to pick up about 30 oranges they dont go through the mower all that good Guess we will be avin pancakes soon

Low volume toilets that you have to flush at least 3 times ,Who in the hell did the research.

How about the tramp that used to hang around the bottom of George st he would make attempts at crossing the road only to get a few steps in & then retrace his steps & start over all in all it took him about 15 mins to finally get across We called him Itchycoo. Then there was the guy we called the Nottingham Nose that i have a story that still has me howling with laughter .

Its every five years on your birthday here ,if you have no tickets we just have to take a eyesight test but if you have tickets you have to take the written also. I used to ride my motorcycle here on my Uk licence until it fell apart, saved me taking the motorcycle test which is a 3 day event.

Just looked & my wifes uk drivers licence it runs out in 2020 ,That was the best fiver she spent from 1978 & still got another 8 years to go.

First real job C&LE Attenborough George st, Apprentice Dental Tech . I used to line the casting rings with asbestos tape before casting then would break them out of the mold the next morning & sandblast, must have ate 20lb of dust a week all for 2 pound 2/6 a week . My other duties were mash tea for 26, fetch cheese cobs, Fish & Chips, Fags & Johnnies, Sweep the floor 5 years of night school & 3 yrs day release i past the City & Guilds with Credit, Thought i was hot sh......t only to get my pink slip same week as i am now overquallified.

First car MGA then 2 more each in better condition 2nd Woolsley 3000 3rd Ford Pop rot box 4th Best car i owned in UK 1968 Ford Thunderbird lhd, but would get pulled over a lot as it had headlights that were behind shutters & it looked like it didnt have any 5th 1969 Jag XKE 6th Jenson Interceptor FF 7th Ford JPS Escort bought new Beetle, Spitfire, Opel Manta, Capri 3000, Mini cooper 1275, Trouble was i didnt get rid of many other than the Pop & Woolsley so when it came time to emigrate had to have a quick sale

I remember my mate bought a house in Basford it had gas lights upstairs no elecricity & only had cold water with a Ascot thingy in the kitchenWe get quite a lot of powercuts here usually some car takes out a power pole.If its out any longer than a hour & i fire up a backup generator. Ps we dont have tv upstairs either cos we are single story
