Just got back from my jollies in Cornwall and have to add to this Whilst I was there I got in a spot of sea fishing and amongst other things I caught the first Black Sea Bream to come out of Newquay this season ( about 3 1/2 pounds!!!) When I got back to where we were staying I collared the chef and asked him to cook it for me.He duly obliged and seved it up with a delicious creamy tarragon sauce and game chips ,the best Fish and Chips i've ever had !!!

I will try a late reply in the hope of finding a Cliftonite My "Uncle Walt and Aunty Iris Hallam " you know the type of aunties I mean (Someone your mum worked with and was freinds for years) Lived on River Green in the 60s and 70s sadly Iris died of the big c in the late 70s but Walt is still alive "I know cause my my mum saw him in M and S in the city centre tail end of last year sadly she didn't ask his address

Just got back from a long weekend in Cornwall and found an exuisit excuisite exuisite exqusite ( bu99er !)very nice brew in the Camelford area called "Dutchy" a local brew don't know how far into Cornwall it goes. Good price too £2.00 pint not bad for real ale to grockles !!!!!!!!!!!!(Tourists)

I got barred from all the pubs in Calverton in one night just because my so called "mate" asked me to ask the door man at the miners welfare how his dog was (Unbeknown to me he had just been prosecuted for starving his dog to death ) as a result a big fight ensude and guess who got barred ? my so called " mate"? I don't think so .That was about 24 years ago.So if you are reading this Mr Doorman sorry !! (But not half as much as you were at the time!!!!!!!!!)

Kenny Thomas as the main act over at griffy dam. and that night down at the orchid we were dressed up as the blues brothers and in the V.I.P. lounge don't you remember me getting chated up by a chippendale ( who had been on at the theatre royal that evening )he kept telling me what a great singing voice I had cause he thought I was in the Sounds of the Blues brothers. not the best experience I ever had !!!!!!!!!!!!!! no1

SHEILA!) of course you all know Sheila was his wife who worked behind the bar. I had the second day of my stag weekend in there 1999 great day ( shame about the outcome) ouch sorry dear !! of course i'll erase that last bit dear!!!!! LOL
  18. If the group are the Dave Clarke 5 (or was it Dave Dee, Dozy ,Beakey, Mick and Titch) and the solo is Eddie Cochran , then Dave (Dee or Clarke ) was a policeman at the time and was the first on the scene when Eddie Cochrane Was killed in his sports car some where in Somerset (I think)
