  2. ....Bought this from a towpath artist, (Robert Brown 1992).
  3. Thanks Rob.L, much obliged. I assume you get your negatives back and if on a flash stick I could print them at home. I also have a device for copying images from negatives and slides, (not sure what you call it).
  4. I would still like to use film. I've got quite a bit of 35mm in my freezer, but not sure where you can take them for d&p. There used to be loads of ads in the photography magazines, but it's been a while since I bought one. Used to like 'Practical Photography and 'What Camera Weekly'.
  5. Din't mean them Brew, but when I scrolled down below your picture there were loads of Imgur images that all seemed American stuff. Maybe it's just on my tablet. Lovely picture by the way. Perhaps it's time I posted some more.
  6. Lets, that looks a serious bit of kit you inherited. Not one to put in your pocket, but one for specialist photography. Had a look at the your link which was interesting. I possess a Pentax, but certainly not that one. Think mine is only 6mp.
  7. But what's all the other images that follow underneath it?
  8. I trust you're enjoying your Skeggy break Catfan. Have a great time.
  9. Hi Oz, just been Googling some H equipment, boy ! Are they expensive. I had to make do with a Russian Lubitel twin lens reflex (120 film). Decent camera though, I've still got it.
  10. CF, Hasselblad were among the best cameras and lenses you could buy. A German maker, I believe.
  11. He used to be a mate of my Father in law Compo.
  12. Have you had all your Malaria shots CF?
  13. Do tell us where it is Ayup.
  14. My last visit to Skeggy was when we went on a craft weekend to Butlins. Went in to Skeg on the bus, had a walk round, got into a barney with 'er indoors. She stormed off and walked straight into a bus stop ! Split her eyebrow open, so I redeemed myself by treating the wound with sterastrips. She wouldn't let me stitch it. !
  15. That railway bridge in the background is where we used to shelter our clothes from the snow. I remember one boat at the steps pontoon was " The Pride Of The Yare". Had a trip on it once.
  16. Another one..." A Loaf of Breakfast" Consisting of 2 eggs, 2 sausages, 3 bacon, 2 hash browns, black pudding, mushrooms, beans, tomatoes and fried bread. All inside a standard loaf. Plus a side of pancakes. And that's not me, honest.
  17. Watchit Noddy, we can read.
  18. How about a fish dinner? 32oz fish, 4lb chips, peas, beans, curry sauce, gravy and 2 bread and butter.....followed by carrot cake.
  19. I too have fond memories of the embankment. My earliest being, as a nipper about 11/12 going there with my pals and swimming near the pleasure boats and rowing skiffs, leaving our clothes on the top step. We used to walk from Denman street to get there. A long way for little legs. It used to be a regular thing and we ventured further down towards the toll bridge. On one occasion we left our clothes under an arch of the railway bridge, to keep the snow off them. Have swum when the river was in flood once, went in from the embankment and finished up on the other side what seemed miles downstream
  20. Righto Aunty, ill do as I'm told. Wrapping and little fingers come to mind. It's quite flattering to be told off by you, at least I know you care.
  21. Don't misunderstand me Jill. I'm not apologising for not having a smartphone, but for being thick.
  22. Because I use an old Doro, for my sins I have no idea what 2gb or 5gb etc per month means. I know gb is gigabytes, but I don't know what it means in relation to a phone. Maybe it's because I don't use a smartphone, I don't understand the concept. Forgive my ignorance.
