Superb last night i got the old black and white telly out and watched Kojak then Chips @ 11-30am it shut down to God save the Queen , then sat and watched the dot for a few minutes .

Right so if i had an old black and white telly would i still get the dot ?

Used to love watching that dot , wonder if anyone Beta/videoed it ?

Sounds like a corrupted windows installation , or the hard drive has failed !!!! Boot it off of your windows disk just far enough to see if setup finds the drive.....if so then a repair install should be possible. if not the drive is probably dead.
