  3. I don't know is it a proper saying i know my granddad was a very good boxer back in 1920s i always thought it might be something to do with that ? I'd love to know . i may have got the saying wrong i was only about 8 or 9 i thought he made it up !!

  5. yep must admit some of the crap I've sold on there , the best one was a very unusual folding plate i found out later it was a broken vegetable steamer !!! them yanks will buy owt !!! my granddad used to say " find a weasel p1ss in its ear hole " never really understood what it meant before ebay came along .

Yes Alan and Margaret now run the Ariba club on St.James street it used to be the old Pieces night club before that they had the old Scampi's / Arbellas on Wollaton street now an hotel , funnily enough those 3 venues where and still are know as Jurassic park with the lads around town , but well worth a visit !!

We must have crossed paths in there Mick I've been going there since it used to be called the curry and swill i mean grill i usually end up there every Saturday to have my midnight belly blast chicken pathia and a bit of a crack with Sam and Bash , does this only happen to me but on Monday morning my armpits smell like Gandhi's underpants :o
  13. I get 1Mb Broadband from ntl for £9.99 , also there's no line rental with ntl as with all other providers , everytime I've seen a better offer i have phoned ntl to tell them I'm off , and they have matched it or beaten straight away , can't fault them . yahoo

I can post it now we have permission from council and the police , or your welcome to our first ever St Georges day parade though the streets of Radford starting at The Pheasant Inn prospect street at 11am taking in a two hour route via St Peters Street , Ilkeston Road , Radford boulevard ect , finishing back at the pheasant where there will be a party , disco , bouncy castle , barbeque ect .
