Police don't bother with burglaries

Not really. The problem is that increasingy greater parts of reducing budgets go to pay clerical staff and PCSO's. This is why there are less Police officers.

Interesting in the case of the odd-numbered houses not being investigated, the Police and Crime Commisioner was apparently not consulted. But that's another example of money completely wasted, what need is there for Crime Commisioners when there is still a Chief Constable?

On the subject of burglaries, I've been done twice in the past, in each case the police came and took finger-prints. Didn't make any difference, the offenders were never apprehended.

I hear the trial is to be extended such that only cars with odd numbers on their plate will be prosecuted for road traffic offences and that if your National Insurance number is even, they won't be chasing you for tax anomalies, so it's not all bad.

We have more people in Britain now, more criminals and yet the police force is getting less police because of cut backs, someone thought of this stupid idea of house numbers, what will they think of next...........Something wrong somewhere.........
