Crabbies 2016 Grand National!

Had an ante-post bet.

'Morning Assembly'- this looks promising and good value.

'The Last Samurai'- Kim Bailey i reckon has laid this horse out for this race.

E/W bets, some shops pay out for 5th-so value is the word.

(Update nearer the day.)

Yes TRD,those 3.

I picked Holy well for the wife, based on jumping and track record, obviously anything can happen,if bobbo's stay clear of fallers and gauge the first 5 jumps steadily - they can go on to do better.

A lot blow up early and sweat like hell, its all changed in the last few years..Gold Cup horses are having a go.

The fences are easier now- Hedgehunter would have pissed this!!

Well F me, I know nothing about horse racing and am not a follower, but due to the bombardment of knowledgeable here, I cast an eye over today's Aintree meeting. There was a horse called Flying Angel (I'm FLY, and an angel) I didn't back it, but the thing came in 3rd at 17/2. 5hit !

Well well well, the rain altered that one!

Holywell fell 2 in,Morning Assembly had a go- but just dropped back in the final 1-1/2 furlongs. But Last Samurai almost pipped it..second at 12's and it was 10's today- enough for two glasses of your tipple!!
