Bubblewrap 3,815
Would you pay(if you had it) £278,000 for this odd chair? http://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2016/apr/06/jk-rowlings-harry-potter-chair-sells-for-278000
FLY2 10,109
Some may see it as an investment, but personally, no. Purely because I can't stand HP.
Commo 1,292
Fly, you don't have to buy it on credit, cash would do just as well! Must say, I reckon it's barmey, how much brass must you have to reckon that it's worth that much? You can buy a set of four for less than £20.
FLY2 10,109
It'd make good firewood.

StephenFord 866
Re #4 - that's expensive firewood - you could buy a forest for that price!
Bubblewrap 3,815
Surly this one would be better at least it has it's own power source
Michael Booth 7,364
The person that buys the chair can obviously afford it and he'll get something that nobody else in the World has. It's the same with car number plates. People pay a fortune for personalised number plates and I doubt there's anyone who wouldn't want one on their car. I wanted to buy MB1 but quickly forgot about it when I saw what prices plates like that go for.

MelissaJKelly 2,124
I read this thread in between reading my Harry Potter book. But even as a fan I wouldn't be willing to pay that! On the personalised number plates. I've never really liked them. They seem far too egotistical for my liking! Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
