Compo 10,328
My dad was a floor tiler. Around 1962ish he wanted a new van and his choice was either a Morris 1000 van or a Ford Anglia (Thames 7cwt) van. In the end he opted for the Ford and so that we kids could travel in it he installed two removable seats in the back.
catfan 14,793
In those days a front passenger seat was an optional extra. ! Some companies (Rediffusion) never had them put in .
Guest
I do recall that Mick,Dennis & Roberts had an E reg doormobile... no passenger seat..spare tyre or bag of peat moss. The Morris van pictured had a Barton bus seat in the rear and a bus heater.
nonnaB 4,903
Â Â My mum feeds this fox every evening. He sits outside the back door waiting, when the door is opened he goes to hide behind the bushes. If he thinks hes not had enough he waits and waits for seconds

nonnaB 4,903
Jill,  mum has been feeding him for 4 yrs much to the annoyance of some neighbours. She also feeds the squirrel and the birds. That also creates problems with the neighbours but she won't stop. Good on ' er

nonnaB 4,903
Benjamin, I took a video of Freddie who wasnt a bit concerned of a cat bypassing him very quietly. Unfortunately it wouldn't upload.
benjamin1945 16,246
Love how Foxes are now living happily in our Cities, obviously for the food that can be had,........a few years ago on a job I was doing in the East end of London I had to spend the night in my car on a residential street, and was fascinated by up to 20 of them parading all night, even climbing on my car,and seemed completely at ease even when they saw me............
Jill Sparrow 10,350
#10 Â Good for your mum, Nonna! Bu99er the neighbours! I'm fortunate, my neighbour is a real wildlife fanatic. He doesn't like people though!!! Could be why we get on well!
Jill Sparrow 10,350
#13 Â They obviously appreciated the company of a fellow sly old fox!
