Watches and batteries

Both my son and daughter have a Rolex, they were not amused when a pointed out the hands round the same way as a Timex...   :rolleyes:

Like Lizzie I use my phone. I have box in a drawer of what were considered exotic mechanicals. These need to be flogged off before the daughter skips them on my demise.

l have my Grandad's watch, took it of dead German soldier sometime between Dec 1915 and Oct 1917..

Iv'e taken it for repair, been told it will always loose roughly 3 seconds a day.. but it's solid gold...

I haven't worn a watch since I left school...

 

Personally, I can't see an issue, if I wanted to know the time, I would be reminded of the stupidity of war...

 

 

It's an object..

If it was a shrunken head I would agree with you.
