rob237 89
Quite superb Caz...thanks for the postings! Colwick Woods....plus VAT Is the dominant peak on the horizon named? Cheers Robt P.
Caz 25
Thanks we love it. The peak is" Mount Buffalo" our very local mountain, doesn't get much snow these days but if it does get a dusting it's the playground for the locals. If you do a "google" you will see that unfortunately there was fire damage last year, whilst I was on holiday in the UK my back yard burned!! In fact we lost a building which if i'm not mistaken the committee are trying to get rebuilt in readiness for the snow season[which has already started on the other mountains] Mt Buffalo is also the mountain which windsurfers & the like jump off with glee in the summer. It's also the local place for suicide jumps,I kid you not

Frank 13
Makes mine look rather boring Spring / Summer in Heronridge And another view on it - note the unused blue bricks around the Bar-B-Que area Oh - and the grandkids sandpit in storage
rob237 89
Nowt wrong wi' that Frank...as nice a vista as you'll get within a city. Much enhanced by the surrounding trees/shrubs and, in estate agents parlance, 'not overlooked'. Cheers Robt P.
