Thanks we love it. The peak is" Mount Buffalo" our very local mountain,doesn't get much snow these days but if it does get a dusting it's the playground for the locals.

If you do a "google" you will see that unfortunately there was fire damage last year,whilst I was on holiday in the UK my back yard burned!! In fact we lost a building which if i'm not mistaken the committee are trying to get rebuilt in readiness for the snow season[which has already started on the other mountains] Mt Buffalo is also the mountain which windsurfers & the like jump off with glee in the summer.

It's also the local place for suicide jumps,I kid you not ;)

Much enhanced by the surrounding trees/shrubs and, in estate agents parlance, 'not overlooked'.

I envy you in a way Caz but don't you get a liitle fed up with the view? the balcony would make an ideal spot to shoot roo's from or a passing deer or maybe an elephant....sorry wrong country. :Fool:

Lovely trees Den,I love Blossom trees,we get them here too.

Yeah the balcony is an ideal spot to watch the world go by,except we can't sit out there until about 7pm in the summer because it's too B****Y hot :angry:

This is my front garden (I will post my back garden when something is in bloom ) SWMBO attacked my wild life garden while I was up in Liverpool yesterday so there are no Fox gloves blooming even the Mint and Nettles are gone plus my Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Thyme
