I enjoyed the match very much, plenty of talent to enjoy, one strange decision from "Woy" (sic) Why take off Sturridge when he was just about the best player on the pitch and Welbeck appeared to be limping? We need a bit more vision in the midfield, I thought there wee a lot of key moments when the ball should have been pushed out wide , especially to "Baines" who was very creative imho That said, I still don't feel we're strong enough to go on and 'do a '66 and all that' and I will gladly eat my words if I'm proved wrong!!

I don't want to be accused of 'having a go at' anybody, and perish the thought that I'm "Doing somebody down" simply because my opinion differs to theirs, but in my honest opinion the biggest ever mining disaster in this country started circa 1984 (Or maybe when she was elected in 79)

OK just to let you waffle on about something else. When I did O level Physics, part of my course work was to try to invent something, I tried (And failed miserably) to invent a perpetual motion machine! I read two books on the subject and both of them came to the same conclusion, "Perpetual motion will only be possible on the discovery of friction free materials" In other words neither of them said it was impossible, just that something else needed inventing first. My lot are having my home made Chicken Soup tonight , with great noggins of "Oktober fest" bread. Boiled down carcass of Sundays Chicken, the left over Chicken and stuffing and some veg thrown in with a stock pot and the left over gravy. Don't knock it, it takes two days for me to make it one handed!

They were certainly known as "Flying Coffins" and "Flying Widow Makers" in my time too.

Cannot tell a lie, it was me , I was bored on Friday, Saturday and Sunday after my operation and decided to see how many pages I could view one handed !..........

Ain't it though ? I get the deja vous feeling every time I see an Australian going out to play any sport at the moment "Ah well, at least he tried"

Not massive, 42 inch I think, but I have various different 'screen modes' (6 on the telly, and 3 on the Blue ray, making 18 different combinations) and I can usually make a decent screen size. (We'll have to wait and see!)

My only personal experience with chimney sweeps was about a year or so after we moved in here we had one round to clean ours in June.(50 quid) I was out at work when he came, but he very nearly convinced SWMBO to book him again in 2 months "As it will need doing again then" I rang him to cancel the appointment , pointing out to him that "seeing as how we only have two or three open fires a year it's unlikely to need doing for at least another 10 years or more, let alone in the middle of summer!!"

Changed my mind , as I'm free tomorrow I'm going to have a 'late one' tonight and stay up to watch it on the 'big screen'.
