  1. Yes I see what you mean. Its temporary.
  2. Got a Myford as well. See instalment 2 when I get round to posting it. The Atlas *MAY* be sold soon.
  3. The wiring might look ropey but in actual fact there is no lighting in there. That wire is a lead lamp clipped to a joist. Just plug in when lights needed.
  4. Bottom Shed. Recent new (free) UPVC windows. Inside. A tip. slowly getting everything wood related out and convert to metalworking only. That front wing will get painted and put on the car eventually. The Raglan (St Anns product) steadily getting its repaint now all other rebuild work is finished. Atlas 10F (Yankee product) Dads old lathe. Second instalment to follow soon.
  5. A bit. Mainly, find a better way to spend £91.
  6. Attended my Speed Awareness Course today.
  7. I've spent ages looking for a lost pen only to realise it was still in my hand!
  8. I use Waze and yes it is good. Still think a proper satnav is better tho'
  9. You leave a phone charging from the cigar lighter when using as a sat nav. A proper satnav is better.
  10. Better idea. Tell us all. We all mystified now
  11. There is another Stanford Hall further south in Leicestershire. http://stanfordhall.co.uk Been to few car rallies there. First time I went to rally I went to the wrong Stanford Hall
  12. It's not the Jacklin I had as a customer then.
  13. I had a customer whose name was Jacklin. Lived at Hucknall, probably no longer with us.
  14. I made a similar enquiry in Central Library Angel Row. I was told that if I couldn't find it from the map they supplied to me FOC there was someone who could meet me at General Cemetery and show me where it was. No mention of money. It may depend who you speak to at Central Library.
  15. It went downhill after they had vacated Peachey Street and moved onto Sneinton Road. I had probably given up on Dennis and Roberts shortly after the move there as I don't really remember them in Victoria Centre.
  16. Yes it is there. Devil of a bus! When I used to see this in its days in service I thought it had been in a front ender and the NCT coachbuilders had bodged it up to get it back in service
  17. that's wor I'm gerrin at really. You used less words
  18. Camms tried that at about the same time, taking on the old MGO B1 run from Heanor to Nottingham.(Trent no. 231). I was part time on Trent at the time doing an Ashfield Schools run. Trents answer was to stick another bus on, to run 2 minutes (or less - no timetable) in front of the Camms one. I did that run from Langley Mill garage into Nottm Victoria and then straight on to Kirkby to start the Ashfield Schools run. In the event the Camms one did get in front of me and stop at a stop, the solution was to pull in front of the Camms to pick my passengers and trap him in the stop. It soon finishe
  19. That's what I thought. The fillet around the radiator doesn't look genuine because that cab wasn't originally fitted to an AEC
  20. Just seen these on a Facebook group I am on. It is described as an AEC Regent. I looked at it and thought 'that's a bit low for a lorry' and then I thought 'AEC Regent is a bus'. And then I looked at the registration. Now tell me if I am wrong but I reckon someone has built a lorry on an ex. Nottingham City Transport AEC Regent chassis.
