Not sure David.............

I like very much where i live today.......but ive always been a restless soul..........and if i were to move again it would have to be near the city centre for easy access without a car.......sort of Carrington/Woodthorpe....certainly north of city...

Just looked at what i said 4 years since.......and it was where i grew up Bestwood estate..... Loved the place so happy growing up with loads of friends and relatives (even relations Phil lol)........however today i couldn't live there.....all my family and friends have left us (99%) and to live there now would make me so sad.........funny how Happy memories can make us sad.......

First time ive donated to a ''Charity shop'' this morning.........took 6 shirts and a casualj jacket to the 'Cancer' shop in Bulwell......never thought about it before but strangely made me feel good......... They were all in good condition and freshly laundered........they were just sat in my wardrobe not worn em for at least a year........made room for some ''New uns''......

A castle for defence it certainly was............that is if you ever tried climbing up the 'Rock face' from the ''TRIP'' side..........which is what me and my old friend 'Harry Fewkes' did...whe we were about 10............very difficult but it saved us both a penny..... Tried to get Brenda and Doreen to do it years later.....but they were having none of it...(Trina and Sandra)......love the Castle and the memories it brings.....hope its soon sorted........

I was anall BK.........I was stunt man for Arthur when he fell down 'Pub stairs'' and got beat up by two blokes down 'Fair''............ruined me suit both times... Doreen still loved me though........

Weather nice this morning...so had my first short burst on my newly serviced Bike........only a couple of miles but feel better for it........its loosened all me 'Bits'..........

yes Col he is same age as myself ...in fact only 9 months difference.............so he must have been at the Henry Whipple school Huts at the same time as myself......its a wonder i don't recall him....especially with his sporting background...........i came second once in an 80 yard sprint at Whipple...must have been him that beat me...........lol

Always loved London........first went when i was 5 with my Grandparents for the day.......was always prepared to work there both in Retail and Security.......even had an office in Tooting for a time.......wife just bid me Tat ta for a few days down there...........so its Micro-wave...chip shop...and Breakfast in Bulwell for a time.........

Great bit of film that brings back so many memories.........i didnt go to HP but the whole site was special to me.... My first school was there the wooden huts....started there in 1950 and a couple of the Huts i believe outlasted HP...... The site was huge stretching from the top of Gainsford crescent down to Arnold road and known to us local kids as the ''Back Wall''.........it was our p\laying fields our Wembley...Meadow lane...City ground...Trent Bridge and Lords..........very happy days...feel so sad when i drive past nowadays and see it filled with Houses all crammed in together

Apart from the two Woodwork Teachers i can honestly say i liked all the others....even the Science Teacher who arranged to have a Motor bike in the classroom after school hours so us boys could 'Strip it down'' and reassemble.............we were all invited to take part......and all did ''EXCEPT ME''........... Honestly had no interest in anything Mechanical (still don't) Mr James the teacher and the rest of the class could'nt believe my lack of interest......Never tried to repair any sort of engine.........I mean...''what do you wear?''

In all my time at school there were only 2 Teachers i disliked....and both were 'WOODWORK' Teachers...... Yes.. i was crap at it and being left handed didnt help.. These two seemed to go out of there way to make sure i didn't enjoy the lessons......for instance i made a football 'Rattle'' which was very poor....and the Teacher seemed to take great delight in front of the class in putting it in a 'Vice' and smashing to pieces...i got my own back when i added a certain substance to his Tea though..lol..... The second Teacher was even worse...he took charge of the Schoo

The person who mended my bike has just returned it....gave it a full service mended Puncture and even cleaned it......when the person collected it had a long chat about bikes in general......didnt bore me at all.....had another chat just now when it was returned very interesting person.........''Men in sheds'' eat your heart out......this person was a Lady.......lol

Must get me ''Tapps'' out later........is it still legal?

''Men in sheds'' my worst nightmare.....why ever would men need to get together with their so called ''Pieces of Kit''........when i need summat doing i get somebody in......and i go out.......cant hold a conversation with any bloke that wants to talk how he ''Arched a wall'' or ''Bevelled'' summat...or even put a shelf up ........then there are them that want to tell me about how their car engine works.......no wonder ive got no mates is it.......plus dont want any... But there you go we all different aint we....... Did i tell you about me new dancing shoes or slim fit Jeans?.......
