Hand pulled beer should be by law dispensed and served in crown stamped glasses which is i believe a 20oz glass . Unless as your John Smiths would have been from crown stamped beer meter which should be served in a plain 23oz glass ( the meter is sealed and only serves half pint per click ) Plus a plain glasses are about £20-30 cheaper to buy a box of 48 glasses than the government stamped glass .

Right so any idea where it is ? I've shown a mate at work that thinks its Bobbersmill opposite the wheatsheaf pub but those house don't fit in there's also a round convex mirror to the right of the nearest suited guy ? Any ideas on the 1st one ?

Can anyone remember the sculpture that was fixed to the wall that links the Theatre Royal and the Royal Concert Hall made of steel tubing with neon coloured lighting , designed by contemporary artist Ron Haselden at a cost of £33,000 in 1982 and activated by the singer Elton John & Funded by local authority and 50% grant from East Midlands Arts ?

One for anyone who misses the square & would like to remember this way . Not sure why my Mum dressed me like that ? No it's not it's me sister . I must admit late night ( sat 1am ) i did take a detour thorough the square and yes there was shite everywhere also the stainless steel wire rope under the hand rails had been snapped .
