MelissaJKelly 2,124
Runs to time? Not always I've had some awful bus experiences just lately!!
mercurydancer 1,104
Melissa. Where I live now, its not that a bus will arrive a few minutes late, its that it runs at all.
MelissaJKelly 2,124
Oh gosh. We should probably think ourselves lucky here then!!
LizzieM 9,514
We're very lucky in Nottingham, the public transport is brilliant. Was in town today and all you could see on Parliament Street, Milton Street area were buses. I know that's not great for folk who want to drive through the city but I think the system works very well.
FLY2 10,109
Superb service along Hucknall Rd to Lidls, brilliant.
LizzieM 9,514
There are so many new Lidls and Aldis popping up all over the town now, you won't need to catch a bus to one soon Basfordred!

LizzieM 9,514
I bought some champagne in our Lidls the other week, oh never mind, this is hijacking the Tram Bridge Collapse thread!
FLY2 10,109
It's nearly mid night, the trams not running now !
LizzieM 9,514
I wouldn't know, I've only ever caught the tram once or twice, need to drive to the tram stop so it's not worth bothering. Be interesting to see how the new routes are when they're finally completed.
FLY2 10,109
As a dedicated motorist, I think the results will be horrendous.
benjamin1945 16,181
Benjamin Be grateful that Nottingham has such a tram system. Its clean, efficient and safe. It runs to time. Compared to the public transport where I live, the trams are in a different league. Don't get me wrong 'mercury' i love the Tram system, but i'm nosey and like to see out of em!
