benjamin1945 16,191 Posted May 6, 2014 Report Share Posted May 6, 2014 Its 60 years ago today that Roger Bannister broke the 4 minute mile barrier,and to me is a true legend, I think the word "Legend" is bandied about to freely today,i hear people talked about as legends ,when they were mearly very good,Legends in sport were people like,Bannister,Owens,Ali,Marciano,Matthews,Moore,Pele,Best,Bradman,Sobers,Larwood,then there are local legends such as,Lawton,Pearce,Randal,Clough and Sirrell. who do you class as a legend in sport,? 3 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
