tomlinson 879
I think it very sad that the Armed Forces Day rightly celebrates our excellent armed forces at a time when they're being cut back, despite the approaching danger from IS and the like. It is more than possible we are already infiltrated by IS members perporting to be asylum seekers and our services need strengthening, not weakening. It may be argued that the military is expensive to support and so it is, until it is needed.

Compo 10,328
#9: I think it very likely that our forces have been infiltrated by religious nutters, oops! sorry, IS. As an ex-member of the armed forces I feel justified in expressing my personal opinion that we should cut back on expenditure. However, cutting back should mean fewer wars that don't concern us and more spend on home bases and national security.
