redbowen 131
I used to catch a South Notts bus to school many years ago. When most companies are taken over they become part of the new company. All trace of their existence is usually lost. It is nice to see that NCT is preserving its name and keeping its identity separate. Well done NCT
Cliff Ton 10,494
I've linked to this several times before, but there are a lot of South Notts buses (and many others) here. https://www.flickr.com/photos/8050359@N07/sets/72157603923450406/
colly0410 1,183
I used to play in an old South Notts bus when I was a kid living on Leake Road Gotham, our back garden backed onto the bus garage. The bus headlights shone through the bedroom window making moving shadows on the wall, my big sister told me it was the bogey men coming to get me, I'd scream blue murder & run downstairs crying.. Merthyr Imp 729
Here's a contribution from me. The vehicle is a Leyland Royal Tiger with Duple Roadmaster bodywork which was quite rare (although you could get a Dinky Toy of it). Photographed at Huntingdon Street, of course, in the late 1960s, on a service to Barton in Fabis.
Bubblewrap 3,815
Still use South Notts at least twice a month some times mare. The nearest bus stop is less than five minuets walk from my house.
