Love this forum so glad Babs told me about it, i am going back to Carlton soon to visit those cottages where i grew up i still cannot get a date as to when they were built its really doin my old ed in now as i am tracing my family tree and i need all the info i can get

Chapel St Lenards every year in a caravan on the Happy Days site we got the caravan cheap because the people that owned it had a general store and we got our shopping from them every week. These old mags of ours are collecters items now we even have some old superman and Batman comics the US versions in strip format wonder what they are worth now, i wouldnt really bin them but we are running out of space my box room is full -

My hubby colects anything and everything we came across some editions of Photoplay a mag that used to tell you all about flims and the actors, early 1960s hes had them for years i want to bin them but i am not allowed lol -
Yep it was a good un my Daughter isnt usually scared of storms but this one freaked her out i love em the rain came down pretty hard glad my roof dont leak lol

Caught some of the acts yesterday We Willy Harris was awesome my Hubby said he can remember seeing him at the Essoldo in Loughborough in 1960 it made his day seeing him again, the Jets were really good too worth getting wet for lol

My Grans was too mostly old raincoats and skirts usually navy and brown

Haslet its pressed meat dont know what kind tho with spices with it, its quite tasty iremember polony it used to be in some sort of orange plastic cover quite nice but not as good as potted meat !hungr!
