I think it might be difficult because of the overall pattern on the photo but I'll see what I can do tomorrow.

I know they can take ages to correct. I've done a lot of old b&w photos for a friend and some of them have been badly marked , creased and ripped which obviously has to be done before working on the rest of the photo. Having sad that I find it to be rewarding when the person sees the result compared to the undoctored one.

You've made a good job of removing the marks especially on the sky and also changing the tone of the sky. Well done.

I went to Whitemoor and I can remember Miss Maltby and also Miss Widdowson, Mrs Barber, Miss/Mrs Healy/Ely and also the headmistress was Miss Bloom but if I recall she then retired and then we had a headmaster. Male teachers I remember are Mr Anderson, Mr Saunders and Mr Gregson
